Imperial Property
The Lansdowne Place Hotel is owned by the Imperial Property Co - founded in 1997 by Nick and Ayse Sutton.
The company draws upon the property development skills of Nick Sutton, who trained as an accountant and member of the institute of taxation with Arthur Andersen before working for a Middle Eastern bank and setting up Crown Dilmun, a property development company, for them.
In addition to becoming 'Young Property Person of the Year 2002' Nick Sutton also become the first developer to build a serviced apartment business in the UK. This serviced apartment company sold its portfolio into a joint venture with the Ascott Group of Singapore who have over 9,000 serviced apartments for £150m in 2001.
It also benefits from the skills of Ayse Sutton - trained as an interior designer she now furnishes apartments for a growing list of a-list clients and has now added a number of elite hotels to her portfolio of over 1000 apartments throughout the UK.
